Post tensioning is a technique for reinforcing concrete slabs which provides pre-stressing through tensioned steel cables or strands which adds structural strength to concrete frames.
This video animation demonstrates the RiserSafe® system with the primary unit having pre-cut M&E service penetrations and lids fixed at the factory for complete safety on site. Allowing for post tensioning through a letter box opening in the side wall of the units for the concrete floors.
